The parlour on Greville Street

Taj Beauty Salon occupies a glazed ground-floor tenancy on Greville Street, Prahran — identified from the street by the projecting crest sign bearing the TAJ name, and across the full width of the shopfront by the words WALK IN SERVICE set in large capitals on the glass.

Inside is a narrow white room with dark timber floors: three black styling chairs on chrome bases, a reclining treatment chair, a mirror bank running the length of one wall, fresh flowers on the counter, and a chandelier above the reception desk. A black curtain screens the treatment bay. It looks exactly like what it is.

Aish Sadana runs the salon as a beautician, hair and makeup artist, offering hair care, beauty care and skincare for both men and women. All treatments are customised to each client's skin type, and professional products are used throughout.

Who we serve

Taj serves men and women across Prahran, South Yarra, Toorak, St Kilda, Windsor and Malvern. The immediate neighbourhood is Greville Street in Prahran, a five-minute walk from Chapel Street.

All treatments use only professional products. The salon provides various services for both men and women, with brow threading and waxing priced as separate lines on the board for each.

Walk-in service

No appointment required. Walk in any time during business hours. The board is on the wall; the board is also on the footpath.
